GAPs Data Repository on Return Migration Now Live
The GAPs Project is excited to announce the launch of its newly developed web-based Data Repository on Return Migration, now accessible at https://data.returnmigration.eu/. This groundbreaking platform provides open access to comprehensive qualitative and quantitative data on national return regimes, filling a critical gap in migration research.
A Comprehensive Resource for Return Migration Data
Developed through extensive research and collaboration across 14 countries, the GAPs Data Repository addresses the long-standing challenges in accessing coherent, reliable, and comparable data on migrants’ return and readmission policies. Traditionally, data on return regimes has been scattered and difficult to navigate due to legal and institutional complexities. This platform overcomes these obstacles by structuring return-related information into five main categories: country profiles, legislation, infrastructure, international cooperation, and descriptive statistics.
User-Friendly, Interactive, and Open Access
Designed with researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders in mind, the platform offers an intuitive web interface with advanced search and filtering options, making it effortless to access and analyze data. It also delivers interactive visualizations and graphs that provide clear and insightful representations of complex migration data.Discover the Platform
